HOCKEY.
The.following, will represent the local club in the seven-a-side tournament to be played in Palmerston North to-morrow: —AA*. AA T alls, J. Gordon, E. Patterson, N. Spring, R. Barber, B. Gower, Mrs Arcus, Emergencies: M. M. Patterson. The local colours will be navy blue and red. Char-a-banc leaves Perreau’s at 12.45 p.m. RULES GOVERNING THE TOURNEY. The rules governing the tourney will be as follows: — 1. —Tourney starts at 2 p.m. sharp. 2. —Each team must supply a white ball. 3. —Each team is to be ready at appointed time to take the field, or forfeit. 4. —Each match is to be played five minutes each way, with a oneminute spell. 5. —ln the event of a draw at the call of time, teams will toss for choice of ends and first goal or first hit over the back-line from inside the circle counts a win. 6. —Each, team must take the field in its registered uniforms.
