A POPULAR HEADMASTER

MR. P. G. JACKSON

The annual report, presented by the Manchester St. (Feilding) school committee to the meeting of housholders, contained the following- eulogistic, references to Mr. F. G. Jackson, who for several years was headmaster of the Boston school: —“It was with very sincere regret that we received the news of our able headmaster's promotion to (lie Avenue School in Wanganui. Mr. .Jackson has endeared himself to pupils and parents alike for his courteous and gentlemanly bearing in all matters pertaining to the school both in the scholastic and supervisory matters. The thanks of the parents are due to Mr. Jackson in many directions, and he may rest assured that he carries with him to W anganui the most sincere good wishes of every householder concerned with this school”
