A MISSING SCHOOL TEACHER.

A Christchurch telegram states that Mr. A. McD. Davidson, a teacher of the Richmond school staff is reported missing since April Ist and anxiety is felt on his account. Mr. Davidson is wellknown in Foxton, where for some time he was first assistant at the local school. His genial personality and enthusiasm in his profession won for him a wide circle of friends. Our representative, when in Christchurch at the end of last month, saw and spoke to Mi'. Davidson, who then appeared to be in his normal health. Mi'. Davidson was a returned soldier and suffered from shell shock.

Two local residents, who were journeying to Napier on Good Friday met Mr. Davidson on the Hastings station and in conversation with them he said that he was on his way to Gisborne.
