PARTY DEMANDS UNSWERVING ALLEGIANCE.

'' At Monday’s sitting of the New Zealand Labour Party’s conference at Wanganui, the pledge to be given by delegates to Labour Representation Committees was discussed, and the meeting unanimously decided that the terms of the pledge should he as follows:

“(a) That 1 am not a member of any political party other than the New Zealand Labour Party. “(b) That I accept the constitution and platform of the party. “(c) That I pledge myself to faithfully uphold and wholeheartedly work for the objective and platform of the party and no other m acc'ord with the decisions which may be made from time to time 'f pursuant to this constitution. ‘•'(d) That I will work and vote for the candidates of the party selected in accordance with the con-. stitutiou.”
