EXCLUSION OF ASIATICS.
Christchurch, April 5. That a “white New Zealand” should be the aim of New Zealanders, and that Asiatics should be prohibited from entering the Dominion for the next ten years, were sentiments embodied in a remit approved by the Canterbury Fruitgrowers’ Association at its annual meeting on Saturday.
