HOSPITAL CONTROL.

Dr. MacEachern, of America, who is making a tour of inspection of the public hospitals of the Dominion will make at least three important recommendations to the Dominion hospital authorities: (1) That the number of hospital districts be decreased through the consolidation of certain of the existing districts; (2J. the retention of the honorary system of staffing and the elimination of the present policy in some districts of employing full-time medical officers with dual functions; (3) the addition of paying wards at the existing public hospitals.
