TREASURER’S STATEMENT,

'• The Borough Treasurer reported as follows at last night’s Borough Council meeting:—

During the month of February the sum of £3904 7s 6d was received and has been placed to the credit of the following accounts: Water and Drainage Loan a/c. £3300, Cemetery a/c. £7 10s Od, Drainage Construction Loan a/c. £l2 16 Bd, District Fund a/c. £584 0s lOd. The ledger balances at the 28th February were as follows: —

Imprest Cash £lO, Hospital and Charitable Aid £l2 6s Bd, Interest £895 16s Od, Sanitation £l7O 7s 6d, Town Hall £348 17s 9d all at debit, a total of £l4 7s lid. The accounts at credit totalled £2123 9s lOd and were made up as follows: —

* Cemetery £lO6 6s sd, Drainage Construction Loan £307 Is 9d, Gasworks £443 3s Id, General £235 Is Bd, Library £73 8s lOd, Reserves £lO9 Is 7d, Town Hall Pictures £727 3s lOd, Water and Drainage Loan £2O 0s sd, Waterworks £lO2 2s 3d.
