RACING.
The autumn meeting of the Woodville District J.C. concluded on Thursday, bright sunshine prevailing throughout. The track was in good order and several of the races provided the keenest contests. The tote handled £16,070, a decrease of £1,425 on the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £33,604, a decrease
of £2,609. The following are the results: —
ilopeland’s Hack Hurdles. — Tawehi 1; Suspicion 2, Ban,juke 3, Won by a length. Time 2.49.
Novice Plate, —Imitation 1, Windy Night 2, Capitulation 3. Won b.v a length. Time 1.16 1.5. Autumn Handicap.—Novar 1, Phoenix Park 2, Allmarimba 3. Won bv three-quarters of a length. Time 1.56.
Manga papa Hack Handicap. — White Fang 1, Nas tori 2, Nadarino 3. Won by four lengths. Time 60 sees.
Telegraphic Handicap.—Papapojiga 1, Merry best 2, Koodoo 3, Won by three lengths. Time 1.13 3-5.
Debutant Stakes. —Spode 1, Eloquent 2, Magna Charta 3. Won by a length. Time 1.1 4-5. Maharahara Welter. —Polyphemus 1, Westbroke 2, Willow Wai 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.28. Kumeroa Hack Welter. —Epistue 1, Salamis 2, Indian Sage 3. Won by half a length. Time 1.29.
