BOROUGH FINANCE
TREASURER’S STATEMENT.
At last ‘night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer reported as follows:—
During the month of January the sum of £651 14s Id was received and has been banked to the following accounts: —District Fund £646 10s Bd, Cemetery A/c. £4 0s Od, Drainage Connection Loan A/c. £6 3s sd.
The ledger balances at the 31st January were as follows: — Imprest Cash £lO, Hospital and Charitable Aid £l6 14s 2d, Sanitation £153 9s od, Town Hall £348 17s 9d, all at debit, a total of £529 Is sd. The accounts at credit totalled £3013 10s Id and were as follows : —Cemetery £IOO 6s sd, Drainage Connection Loan £294 5s Id, Gasworks £415 4s 2d, General £255 6s 9d, Library £7l 17s sd, Reserves £9B 5s Id, Town Hall Pictures £630 7s Bd, Water and Drainage Loan £BO9 3s sd, Waterworks £97 2s 7d, Interest £241 11s Gd.
