£5,000 LOAN
At last night’s meeting of the Borough Council it was decided that in respect of the loan of £SOOO, to be known as the Roads and Streets Loan No. 3., fifty debentures of one hundred pounds each be issued bearing interest at six per cent, as soon as the necessary authorisations have been granted. The Mayor and Treasurer were authorised to sign the debentures. • It was also decided that the Works Committee, with the addition of Cr. Walker proceed to make arrangements for the work to commence and to order the necessary materials as soon as funds are available.
