PALMERSTON RAILWAY DEVIATION.
STATEMENT BY PRIME MINISTER.
The Right Hon. J. 6. Coates, replying to a letter from the member for Palmerston North, has advised Mr. J. A. Nash as follows: — With reference to your inquiry regarding the railway deviation work at Palmerston North, I have to inform you that the sum set apart for the current year is for the purchase of the land required. The plans are now with the Lands and Survey Department, and the land will be proclaimed immediately these plans are approved.
