KILLED BY A TREE.
Dunedin, February 8. Joseph Harvey, a widower, aged GO, who was living at Owen Street, Burnside, was killed on Saturday through the butt of a tree, which he was felling, rebounding when it fell and jamming him against the trunk, lie was killed outright. His son was with his at the time.
An inquest was held at Burnside on Saturday afternon and a verdict was returned that deceased met his death by being accidenly killed while felling a tree.
