GARDEN PARTY.

A very enjoyable afternoon was spent by a large number of local and district residents at a garden party held on the grounds at the residence of Mrs Frank Robinson, Beach Road, yesterday afternoon. A large number of country residents were present and t lie afternoon was spent among very pleasant surroundings with games and competitions. A very tasty afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostess and during the afternoon a putting competition was held and also a very interesting “treasure hunt.” A produce and Guild stall on the grounds reported good business and everyone proclaimed the afternoon a most successful social event.
