The great sorrow of childhood, the rending of parental ties, disintegration of home, is poignantly pictured in “Divorce,” a volcanic arraignment of ill-considered marriage and hasty divorce, which is the attraction at the Royal theatre Friday, with Jane Novak and John Bowers in the principal roles. Placed in “neutral” homes or in institutions, no more to come home from schol to buttered bread and jam as only mothers can prepare that delicacy of childhood, gone l*he exquisite hours when they were tuckin bed with fairy tales, no one to hear their sobbing tales of injustice, nor (o bandage their scratched knees —do mothers and fathers ever pause to think of the children’s side in their mad rush for the divorce courts?
