The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 23rd hist., reads: Hem}), Manila market easier with “J” grade, Januarv-March, and Febru-arv-April shipments sold down to £4-1 15/-. Holders firmer at the close and February-April shipments sold at £-15 5/-. Sisal dull. .Januarv-March shipments No. 1. Tanganyika value £44 10/-. New Zealand market is easier for high points. Sellers afloat and JanuaryMareh shipments quote £4O, fair steady; Januarv-March -shipments sold at £37 5/-; March-January shipments quoted at £36 15/-.
