Marton, December 5,

A meeting of delegates, representing the Wanganui, Waitotarn, the Rangitikei County Councils, Wanganui City Council, Marton, Tailiape, and Ilunterville Borough Councils, Marton and Ilunterville Farmers’ Unions, Wanganui and Wellington Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union, also chambers of commerce, was held to-day. A unanimous resolution was passed urging the Government to establish one agricultural college in the North Island immediately, and stressing that the college be established in [he Rangitikei district.
