“SALLY OF THE SAWDUST.”
D. Wl Griffith’s latest and greatest 10-reel masterpiece a circus story “Sally of The Sawdust,” is the big attraction at the Town Hall to-night. Amid the sidelights of a circus with animals, bands and clowns, Griffith has found the circus juggler and his fiery, fearless daughter who believes her “Pop’s” rogueries are all the merits of a great man. To them the glamour of Hie circus is more than tinsel and the life is more than make-be-lieve. Through comical hardships and serious gaeitvs, they trudge along with complications and carnivals, by way of blind-baggage and and intrigue, up to the door of the Judge’s house in the end, in the merriest, most- exciting finish the screen has offered in many months. \V. Thrill upon thrill is provided in “Jealousy” a rattling sea yarn, starring Matheson Lang, which heads Monday’s programme. Not only are there storms at sea, adveniures with smuggled cargo, a mutiny on board, and a fire at sea, but even more exciting, are the struggles and conflicts of two men and one beautiful woman cast by fate on the same ship. A Larry Semon comedy “Lighning Love,” and Pnthe Gazette are other films. Usual prices. ROYAL PICTURES. The big climax in “Her Husband’s Secret," to lie screened at tlie Royal Theatre 10-night comes when Antonio Moreno, to atone for a shameless past, leaps over a cliff in an effort to commit suicide. Mr. Lloyd the producer, made elaborate preparations to ensure for Moreno’s safety, hut the latter would have none of them and insisted on making Hie leap alone and unassisted. The arc lights sputtered and the cameras clicked, and Lloyd and his stall' wailed breathlessly for Moreno tn “take off." Second- seemed like minutes -before the star leaped oil the top of the precipice and virtually llew through space toward the rocks and the camera on the shoro line, landing safely in some loose sand, none the worse, except tor a few bruises.

Benjamin B. Hampton has woven a tense drama around the deeds and fiery action of the Vigilantes against the most colourful setting of the most interesting period of the West from his photodramatisation of Stewart Edward White’s famous novel, “The Gray Dawn,” appearing at the Royal theatre on Monday.
