DUNEDIN BOOKMAKEKR FINED
Dunedin, November 11. A young man, Arthur Downie, ease charged in the Magistrate’s Court this morning with hookmaking. The police stated that accused had been under observation for some months as a suspected bookmaker. WShcn he was arrested a quantity of betting charts and other documents bearing evidence of his manner of living had been found upon him. He pleaded guilty, was fined £SO.
