OBITUARY.
MARY HE ARNE, AGED 22 YEARS. We regret to record the death of Mrs M. Hearne, wife of Mr. A. Hearne, of Union Street, Foxton, which took place last Friday. Deceased had suffered from ill health for some time and recently was an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital. She appeared to recover from her illness and was about until just prior to her demise on Friday. The late Mrs Hearne, was born in Foxton and educated at St. Mary’s school and was the possessor of a pleasing disposition which endeared her to a large circle of friends. Deceased was the eldest daughter of Mrs and the late Mr. G. Gupwell, of Foxton, and leaves a husband to mourn his loss. The interment took place on Saturday, the services at the Church and graveside being conducted by the Rev. Father McDermitt.
