Levin & Co., Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 16th October, 1925-: —- “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.) “Down lambs 28/42’s , 12d per lb; best North Island 28/42’s, Hid per lb; ordinary North Island 28/42’s, llsd per lb; second quality lambs 28/42’s, llid per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/04’s, BJd per lb.; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, Bd. per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, B|d per lb; North Island ewes.4B/64’s, Gid per lb; North Island ewes 64/72’s, 0&d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, s&d per lb. - _ _ ' “There is very little demand, owing to. exceptionally large Scotch supply.”
