THE MOTOR SPORTS.
Arrangements are well in hand for the forthcoming Motor Cycle Raees, to be held in the Racecourse on Labour Day, October 26th. Nominations received are beyond the expectations of the committee and, given a fine day for the event, the public should' see some good riding. So roll up and don’t miss seeing Percy Coleman, New Zealand’s crack motor cycle rider. The number of nominations received for the motor -cycle races was 1333, and for push bike races 66. . . , The catering will be in the capable hands of Mr. J. Walls. -The secretary has received a very good - -programme from the Foxton -Silver Band, which is providing the musical items on Sports day. _ > -
