THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: Present indications are for northerly winds moderate to strong, freshening and backing by north to west. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. The- barometer has a falling tendency. Seas rough; tides moderate.
