PRESENTATION.

On Thursday evening, September 3rd,-the parishioners of St. Mary’s Church tendered a social to Miss M.-Diamond in honour of her approaching marriage. A very pleasant evening was competitions and dancing, Mrs Carmont and Miss . Morgan contributing songs and Misses Delany and Patterson pianoforte solos. During the evening Rev. Father McDermott, on behalf of the parishioners of St. Mary’s Church, presented the guest of the evening with a handsome silver tea service and little Don Purcell handed her a boquet of violets. Mi’. Kavanah suitably responded on behalf of Miss Diamond.
