A TAME EXITING. G<)VEBNAIENT’S SIXTH VICTORY. The debate in the House of Representatives on the Wllford Party’s no-confidence motion ran lather tamely to an end yesterday (says the Dominion.) Mr. Edie look up the running in the afternoon with a speech which had some merit as a comedy item. Mr. Savage expounded the land policy uf the Labour Party. Mr. Lysnar followed with a brief speech in the course of which he referred to tiie fusion question in a tone of lesignation. Then, shortly before the dinner adjournment, came a division in which the Liberal amendment was defeated by 32 votes to 2H. The main Financial debate was afterwards resumed. In the final speech of the evening, Mr. R. A. Wright replied vigourously to the attacks of Labour members on Ministers. The House rose at 9.4 G p.m.
