HECTOR GRAY’S APPEAL DISMISSED.
+ LIFE QUALIFICATION UPHELD. Wellington, July 10. The New Zealand Racing conference decided to-night t»he appeal of H. E. Gray, jockey, against the decision of the Canterbury District committee in disqualifying him for life from May 27, 1925, for a corrupt practice under XXXII rule I clause (a) of the Rules of Racing. Judgment was as follows: “We have carfully heard the appeal of 11. E. Gray and we are unanimously of opinion that he has failed to bring any evidence which would justify us in upholding his appeal. We therefore dismiss the appeal.” —(Signed) E. Mitchelson, Harold A. Russell, T. Eldon Coates, judges.
