THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: Indications are for moderate to strong winds backing by east to north, then freshening. Prospect of fair to cloudiness. Night probably very cold with frosts inland, but barometer falling in the beginning of week. Seas moderate tides poor.
