THEFT OF POUND OF BUTTER.

Witness pleaded for leniency in this case as the accused was a member of a highly respectable Native family and had commit led the crime while under the influence of drink. It was merely a drunken freak. Accused was prepared to take out a prohibition order. Convicted and discharged provided accused takes out a prohibition order.
