Two teams from the lneal State school competed in the seven-a-sidc tournament, Primary (Schools grade, hold on the Palmerston N. showgrounds yesterday. The following wore the results oi the games played by them: — First Round. —Foxton A defeated Ashhurs! II to nil; Foxton B lost to Manchester Street (Folding) 28 to 3. Second Round. —Foxton A lost to Lvllon Street (Feilding) 36 to nil.
A team will' he picked from the following to represent tho Foxton Fourths against Foxton School, at !i,o racecourse on Saturday. Kickoff at 1.30 p.m.:—Rankin, Aldridge, Williams, Anderson, Smith, Chryslall (2), Hall(2), Barrat, Evcliegh, Doluny. A practice for the above will be held as usual.
