ANZAC DAY CELEBRATIONS.
Saturday, An/.ac Day, will he observed as a Sunday. A parade will be held at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, at which all Returned Soldiers arc requested to lie present, in mufti, wearing decorations. The parade will leave the Post Office lor ilu Town Hall, where a religious service will be held. Addresses will be made hv His AYorship the Mayor and Rev. F. McDonald. Rev. W. 11. AYulton will preside, and tlasinging will be led by the Foxton Silver Band. t the conclusion of the service wreaths will be placed on the monument in the Triangle, and the “Last Post” sounded. A collection box will he placed at the entrance to the Hall, the proceeds from which will lie used in defraying expense connected with the service, any surplus (o be donated to the Poppy Day fund. FOXTON PUBLIC SCHOOL. A short, service will be held tit the local public school to-morrow (Friday) afternoon, at 1.45 o’clock. Returned soldiers, all parents and residents are most cordially invited t<> be present.
