UNITED SPORTS ASSOCIATION.

A committee meeting of the above was held in the Racing Club office last night. Present: —Messrs Hutchins, Smith, Austin, Ogilvy, Bryant, Christie, Perreau, and the secretary (Mr F. Rimmer). Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Jewell, Barber, Barron, Thomson and Pearson. It was decided to hold a grand ball in the Town Hall on May 7th. Other matters of minor importance were dealt with, and before tlit meeting terminated members present took the opportunity of wishing Mr A. N. Smith every success in his new venture. Mr Smith suitably replied.
