"BIG DAN.” A human chain formed the escape from dishonour for the comely heroine of ‘‘Big Dan,” Charles Jones’s latest production, which is screening nt the Town Hall to-night. Trapped in “Cyclone’s” room, Dora, the distressed girl, is aided by a dozen youths, who climb to the window, and catching each other’s ankles with their hands, form a ladder over which she lowers herself to the ground. The picture is saturated with a. great variety of punch scenes, the story, as produced, shows a complete and honest picture of the features that mark the life of a •prize fighter. The vast panorama of events and dramatic episodes covered by the film makes impossible, within the limits of space, any description of “Moniia Yanna,” the big film spectacle at the Town Hall on Monday. Lee Parry, famous Con'iienlal beauty aertess, plays the leading rule. A Mack Sennett comedy “One Spooky Night,” and Paihe Gazette complete tho hill to be screened at usual prices. ROYAL PICTURES. The most phenomenal child in mnlion pictures, Richard Headrick, is one of the central figures in “The Child Thou Gavest Me,” produced by John M. Stahl for Associated Nation pictures, and which is fco he screened at the Royal Theatre tonight. Four great stars are listed in support of this young actor, Lewis Sloiu-, William Desmond, John M. Stahl and Barbara Castleton* To find such highly paid artists as these in .Mipport of a child goes to prove something of his merit. Prices remain as usual to-night, fid and “Flapper Wives," a Selzniek Seven Art Production, which comes io the Royal Theatre on Monday night, marks the return to the screen of that popular artist, May Ali- • <mi. Opposite her is Harold Lockwood. With such actors and a highly interesting drama, as provided in ••Flapper Wives" a good night’s entertainment is assured patrons.
