INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
Daring the past twenty-four hours there were two t'resh notifications of infantile paralysis received at the Palmerston N. hospital. Cue of the patients, a girl aged 8 veers was admitted yesterday morning, and came from Princess St.. Palmerston N. The other patient was a boy aged 8 years from Podding. Both the inmates are suffering from the disease in a mild form. The patient from Broad St., Palmerston N., who was reported as serious, lms shown very little improvement. The remainder of the patients are progressing satisfactorily. A child aged 12 months from Levin was discharged yesterday completely cured. There was another response to the appeal for serum blood yesterday. the volunteer came from Longburn and this is the third time he has rendered the service.
