MANAWATU-OROUA RIVER BOARD.
CLASSIFICATION DECISIONS.
Reserved judgment was delivered ai Palmerston N. on Tuesday by the Assessment Court set up to hear the appeals against the classifieation of land in the district of the Manawatu-Oroua River Board.
In announcing the decisions, Mr •i. L. Stout, S.M., stated that the assessors wished to pay a compliment to the classifiers, Messrs F. C. Hay and N. H. Mackie, for the way in which they had handled a difficult task, and for their impartiality and fairness. The decisions of the Court were as follows: —F. S. Easton and same and partners, Moutoa, Foxton, classifications to remain; W. B, Pearce, Kairanga and Foxton, classification to remain; .J. and W. Meagher, Kairanga, 50 acres in class C and 44 in class D (non-rateablc); D. B. McEwen 43 acres in Class C and 73 in Class D; J. Dunn, Koputaroa, 50 acres in Class G and 71 in Class D; 8. Bowkei, Koputaroa. 45 in class I? and 49 in class C; J. Liggins, Makerua, classification to stand; G. Craw, Makerua, 100 acres in class D a>. ■ Wane - as clas .fied.
