DISCOVERY OF ANCIENT SKULL
- + - THE MISSING LINK, Loudon, February 4. British scientists are deeply interested in cables received yesterday from South Africa announcing that a skull believed to be the oldest in the world, and the missing link, between man and ape, has been discovered by Professors Dart and Young. Sir Arthur Keith said: “I know Dart, who is an Australian anatomist, well. He is particularly interested in the brain "and if he found the cast of the brain his evidence would be well founded. Dart is most capable and able, therefore he must be taken seriously.” Professor Elliot Smith said: — “Dart is unlikely to make a mistake. He was with me when the Rhodesian skull arrived.”
