GARDEN PARTY.

A most enjoyable garden party held under the auspices of All Saints’ Ladies’ Guild took place at the residence of Mrs F. Robinson, Beach Road, yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance and the various stalls were situated in shady nooks in the delightful grounds and good business resulted. Tennis and golf croquet were also indulged in. The hostesses were Mesdames F. Robinson and F. C. Raikes (Oroua Downs). The result of the effort was most satisfactory, both from a financial and social point of view and the guild desires • o thank all who assisted. In the evening Miss Ilia Robinson entertained the officers in camp and others at a most enjoyable social function.
