HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commiisioner’s cable, dated the 24th inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, opened dull and easier and closed quiet but steady. ‘J’ grade, January-February shipments sold at £54 10/-. New Zealand market continues quiet. Quotations unchanged.”
