CORRESPONDENCE.
(To The Editor). Sir,—lt is ah jit time some of cur local townspeople and critics j ut on their ihink'.ig caps about the coming Municipal and Alayorai election. The work of the present Council is done or left undone, as the case might he, by about three Councillors, and the Alayor and Town Clerk. I hope when a new Council is elected that some new blood will be introduced, who will take a more lively interest in the progress of the town —some live-wires who will not lose time in sniffing at a little extra expenditure, but will pledge themselves to lay down a progressive policy and what is more, carry it out. At a later date, if you will permit me, I will refer to some of the matters which requirie attention for the advancement of the town. — Yours in anticipation, PROGRESS.
