A DANGEROUS BEND.
BOROUGH COUNCIL TO (SUPPLY PARTICULARS. A numlber of accidents have happened at the bend of the road leading from Russell St. to the railway cross in nr at the north end of the borough. The Borough Council referred the matter to the Manawatu County Council, which at Tuesday’s meeting, decided to ask the Foxton Borough Council for a plan showing the road boundaries, position of crossing and proposed work to be carried out together with an estimate of the cost of the work. This information was required by No. 9 District Highway Council, in order to deal with the matter.
