FOXTON SWIMMING CLUB.
The annual general meeting of the above club was held in Perreau’s rooms last night. Mr Perreau presided. The report and balance-sheet for the season 1923-24 was read and adopted, the latter showing a credit balance of £1 2/5. The election of officers for the year resulted as follows: — President: Mr 0. Perreau; vicepresidents : Messrs Ohrystall, Christie, Barr, Hornblow, Kirkland, M. E. Perreau and Thomson; lion, secretary: A. Fuller; lion, treasurer: Mr Tyer (re-elected). Management committee: Messrs T. Fuller, F. Lockwood, D. Ball, E. Cunningham, and H. Burr. # Membership subscription was fixed at : Seniors 2/6. Juniors 1/-. I| was reported that the Manawatu Centre is holding a Carnival oil Wednesday, 21st January. A vote of thanks was passed to all who assisted the club during the last season. Decided to hold a working-bee next Saturday afternoon at 2.30.
