FOXTON-SANSON LIGHT RAILWAY.

It would appear that some considerable time may elapse before the A) connecting link of the Main Trunk I line between Marton and Levin is consummated. In the circumstances the next best thing to do is to agitate for the extension of the FoxtonSanson light railway from the present terminus to Greatford or Marton. We believe the railway authorities would not now put any obstacles in the way of a siding for linking up with this service which would not only he beneficial to the settlers, but, we believe, would make the tram revenue-producing.
