BEACH NOTES

The breaking-up ceremony at the Beach school took place on Thursday. The parents and guardians met the teacher and children and entertained them at afternoon tea. The National Anthem was sung, after which the children participated in a lolly scramble. On behalf of the parents, the matron of All Saints’ Home, Airs Alurdoek, wished Alt Christoft’ersen the compliments of the season. The gathering closed with the singing of “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow,” to which Air Christoffersen suitably responded.
