CORRESPONDENCE.
(To The Editor.) Sir, —Can you inform me why the Borough Council does not straighten the road which leads from Russel] St. across the railway line and so do away with a dangerous bend which has led to numerous accidents. The formation would no! cost much and there is any amount of metal on the bend which could b-j ploughed up and used. The job would not cost £2o. —Yours, etc. A VICTIM.
