CROQUET NOTES.

A general meeting- of the Croquet Club was held in the pavilion yesterday afternoon when it, was derided to hold a dance in the Masonic flail on Wednesday, lath inst., this being the day of the opening of the green. The net proceeds are to he donated to a special fund for procuring new greens. Further particulars will be advertised later.

All the laities present promised to try and get more honorary members, and to invite them to join in Wednesday tournaments at a small entry. Mrs Winslanley was elected an honorary member.
