UNITED SPORTS MEETING.

The tirst meeting of delegates from the local sports clubs was held last night in the Carnival Office. The meeting was representative of nearly all the local clubs and whilst the business transacted is still not open to the Press, it is understood that a committee was. formed, and a Sports Queen elected. Her secretary and speaker .were also elected and the colour blue decided upon. Another meeting is to be held in the course of a few days.
