RAILWAYMEN COMPLAIN.
DEPRIVED OF VOTE. Christchurch, October 6. A breach of faith on the part of the Government in connection with secret ballot now .being taken at the railway workshops oh the hours question is alleged bv the men at Addington Workshops. They hold that “casuals” are wrongly being deprived of a vote. Some .of them have been employed for over twenty years. It is stated that 198 men are affected.
