HIGH' COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the -Ith inst.. reads: “Hemp, Manila market, opened active but closed quiet and values have advanced. ‘.V grade, September-De-cimber shipments sold at £57 10/to £SB and now quoted at £SB 15/sellers. New Zealand market firm, high points September-November shipments sold for £44 to £45 5/and buyers. Fair quoted at the close of market at £43 10/- and value.”
