Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 30th September, 1924. “The following prices are current tor average farmers’ lots at the sales now proceeding: Greasy Merinos, 34d to 37d; scoured do., 5/5; greasy super Halfbreds, 56’s, 30d to 35d; do., fine, 50/56’s 26d to 31d; do., Halfbreds, 48/50’s, 23d to 26d; do., fine Crossbreds, 46/48’s, 22d to 24d; do., medium, 44/46’s, ‘2od to 22d; do., coarse,_4o/44’s, 19d to 2id; do., low, 30/40’s, 19d to 20tl; do., Crossbred Pieces, 17d to 19d; do., bellies, 17d to 18d; do., locks, lid to 12d. The auctions are proceeding with great spirit, and catalogues are being well cleared.”
