The guests were received by the bride’s mother, who wore a gown of navy blue and old gold silk, nicely braided with hat to match, and carried a posy of violets. The bridegroom’s mother wore a velvet gown with white trimming and hat to match, and also carried a posy of violets. The bride travelled in a threepiece suit of fawn gabardine, heavily liraided and finished with a high coliifl- and cuffs of fur. With this .wa- worn a smart hat of royal blue georgette trimmed with paradise osprey to tone, and a black fur coat, the gift of the bridegroom. The happy couple, who will make their home in Foxton, are deservedly popular with a large circle of friends, who will unite in wishing them every happiness in the future.
