Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the Ist August, 1924. “Quotations ex store: —New Zetland prime Canterbury' lamb, 28/ 42’,5, none offering; North Island lamb, 28/42’s, Hid; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/64’s, Hid; North Island mutton, 56/64’s, 71 cl; Ewes, 48/64’s, 7id; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, hinds: 5 2d; do. fores, none offering.” As compared with last week’s quotations, lamb is id dearer; mutton Id dearer and ewes 3-8 d dearer.
