CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir,- —Will you allow me to compliment your tiro brigade upon the efiiceut and business-like manner in which it carried out its duties at the lire on Sunday morning and upon year excellent water pressure. I nave seen a few brigades in action and your local men compare just as favourably wiLh them, despite the small number 1 noticed at the local lire. What struck me was not so much the playing of the water on the lire, but a correct knowledge of where the water would be used to the best advantage. I believe in giving credit where it is due and hence my congratulations to the Foxton Fire Brigade. Thanking you, sir, in anticipation,—l am, etc. NEWfCOMMK.
